Abstract:
This talk provides an overview of changes in journal rankings and the consequences thereof, the bulking phenomena, whereby some journals have dramatically increased their article count, and the impact of AI on those scholars who use it and those that do not. This will include insights into how editors and reviewers are responding to authorial usage of AI, trends in methods, and developments and controversies in the usage of platform participant providers. This will be followed by a look at developments in the pool of reviewers and what this means for authors.
