The ANZAM Sustainability and Responsible Management Special Interest Group (ANZAM SRM-SIG) is pleased to host its third online seminar in its Professional Development Seminar Series 2026.

Some situations in management and policy studies may not suit collecting primary quantitative or qualitative data—for example, sensitive and confidential employee or management behaviour, crisis or disaster situations, objective policy trends, or disadvantaged or marginalised communities. Unobtrusive measures enable discrete data collection and analysis without researcher intrusion, influence, or impact on participants’ perspectives. This session draws on the presenter’s high-impact published work to discuss the significance and potential of unobtrusive methods in enriching management and policy scholarship.
