IFSAM – Leaders’ Platform Meetings (LPM)

Leaders’ Platform Meetings (LPM) – formerly known as Presidents’ Platform Meetings (PPMs) – have been held since January 2021.

The IFSAM President convenes the presidents, chairs, and senior leaders of all member and observer associations to discuss strategic issues of shared interest.

Since their launch, the LPMs have provided a forum to reflect on the evolving role and activities of scholarly associations, including topics such as annual conferences, digital and hybrid formats, and the economics of academic events—particularly in response to the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The LPMs are currently coordinated by Patrick Reinmoeller, Director of the  Presidential Team Office (PTO).
