Academy of Management Discoveries (AMD) Publishing and Paper Development Workshop

We are delighted to invite you to the Academy of Management Discoveries (AMD) Publishing and Paper Development Workshop, hosted in person at Waipapa Taumata Rau / The University of Auckland, on 7 November 2025.

This full-day event (10:00 – 16:00 NZST) will bring together scholars interested in publishing with AMD and contributing to the Special Research Spotlight: “From Circularity to Regeneration in Management and Organizations.”

About the Workshop:

The workshop provides an opportunity for PhD students, early-career, and senior scholars to engage directly with the AMD editorial team and guest co-editors of the Special Research Spotlight. Participants will gain insight into what makes a successful AMD paper and receive tailored feedback on their own ideas or early-stage manuscripts.

Workshop Format:

The programme combines plenary sessions with interactive breakout discussions. Participants submitting abstracts will be grouped with Associate Editors or Editorial Review Board members for developmental feedback. Each participant will briefly present their research idea and receive insights on fit and potential development toward AMD publication.

Submission Guidelines:
If you wish to receive feedback, please submit a 2–3 page double-spaced abstract outlining your conceptual or theoretical idea.

  • Abstracts and registrations must be submitted by 30 October 2025, 10:00 NZST.
  • Accepted participants will be notified by 1 November 2025.
  • Participation in discussions without submission is also welcome (registration still required).
