‘The only constant in life is change’ (Heraclitus, circa 475 BC).
The impact of COVID-19, changes in the academic sector, growing chronic illness, ageing populations, and increasingly informed consumers all drive change in healthcare and related research. We can leverage the call for change through innovation; yet this can be challenging to achieve in practice. This panel discussion showcases two exemplars of how to innovate in healthcare research and practice with sustained impact.
