Journal of Organizational Behaviour Publishing Workshops in Melbourne and Sydney

The Journal of Organisational Behavior (ABDC A* Journal), in collaboration with the Body, Heart, and Mind in Business Research Group at the University of Sydney and the Organizational Behavior Research Group at Monash University, invite colleagues and PhD students to attend one of our upcoming one-day publishing workshops. The workshops will be held in-person on the campus of Monash University in Melbourne on Tuesday, the 28th of March, 2023, and on the campus of University of Sydney in Sydney on Saturday, the 1st of April, 2023. The workshops will be led by JOB’s Editor-In-Chief Christian Resick from Drexel University (Philadelphia, USA).

Venue: Room 8.13, Building H, Caulfield Campus, Monash University or via zoom

 

Sydney workshop details

Date and time: Saturday, 1 April, 2023, 9:30 am – 5:00 pm

Venue: Room 3180, Abercrombie Building (H70), The University of Sydney

 

The Morning Session will focus on strategies for writing impactful papers and navigating the publication process through a series of presentations and focused discussions. Topics include: Overview of the publishing process, establishing the relevance of the topic, theory-method alignment, telling an engaging story, and navigating the R&R process.

The Afternoon Session provides an opportunity for participants to develop and refine the introduction from a working paper, receive feedback, engage in group discussion, and learn more about the review process. Activities include: developing the introduction, group discussion, and author-reviewer-editor dynamics. The workshops are free of charge and catering will be provided.
