Workshop topic: Leading Innovation in Health – exploring, researching and taking action.
Our passion is to engage in practice-based research that inquires into important questions in health leadership and management. We pay particular attention to illuminating what works in the many and varied parts of the health system, investigating what is possible and understanding what makes a positive difference to practitioners, their practice, and the patients and clients for whom we are doing all this. In fact we want to uncover and foster what is brilliant in health services management.
We seek to do this collaboratively, bringing practitioners and researchers together to engage in dialogue and identify actions to get projects off the ground. This is the fifth in a series of such workshops exploring leadership in health and this one will focus on Innovation – what it looks like, instances of brilliance, how it is led, and what we can do to foster it.
