ANZAM Industry Fellows are ANZAM members with a distinguished record in industry.

At its March 2013 meeting, the ANZAM Board created the membership category of ANZAM Industry Fellow. They are appointed by the ANZAM Board for three years and are eligible for re-appointment for another three years.

The primary role of the ANZAM Industry Fellow is to provide assistance with reducing the theory/practice gap and foster stronger collaboration between the Academy and practitioners. This may be in conjunction with researchers and doctoral students, in developing their career and industry profile.

The primary vehicle for such mentoring activity is the ANZAM Conference and Doctoral Colloquia held during the year. ANZAM Industry Fellows are expected to provide views on the applicability and implications of research in industry.
