Doctoral Workshop - Mid-Year

The Mid-Year Doctoral Workshop will be held on Monday 7 & Tuesday 8 June 2010 at Dunmore Lang College, Macquarie University, Sydney.

The particular emphasis of this workshop will be on the preparation of an academic career and academic writing, featuring questions such as: How much and where should I publish? How important is conference attendance? Is teaching experience necessary for an academic career?

We will offer sessions on academic careers in the US, Europe, Asia, and Australia, a workshop on reviewing, two Special Interest Groups (entrepreneurship and complexity), and - of course - student presentations.

ANZAM Doctoral Workshops provide a friendly and constructive atmosphere, with excellent opportunities for networking and feedback. And, best of all, it's free to all ANZAM members.
