Opportunity for PhD Student Partner for CSR/Stakeholder Conference

The International Association of Business and Society (IABS) Conference will be held in Sydney from 19-22 June 2014.  This Association is a friendly, well-connected group of scholars researching and teaching in CSR, corporate governance, sustainability and stakeholder theory.  The members overlap substantially with the Academy of Management Social Issues in Management Division.  IABS also sponsors Business & Society , the only peer-reviewed scholarly journal devoted entirely to research, discussion, and analysis on the relationship between business and society.

PhD students and ECRs are strongly encouraged and supported in this Association.  In addition to the main Conference program, there is a dedicated half-day PhD Workshop.  Having the Conference in Sydney is a great opportunity for local and regional PhD students to interact with eminent scholars.  Dr Michelle Greenwood is seeking a PhD student partner to run this Workshop.  They should be researching/have an interest in CSR or in Stakeholder Theory, and be well-networked (or able to build networks) with the aim of getting as many PhDs and ECRs involved as possible.   Contact Dr Greenwood for more details on michelle.greenwood@monash.edu.
